Code of conduct and Behavioral policy

The school expects and practices absolute discipline and behavioral conduct with students as well as other stakeholders. These policies have been created to build a healthy and nurturing environment in school.

1. Code of conduct 

  • Bullying is strictly prohibited inside school premises and even outside. School does not support any form of misbehaviour. No such act will go unnoticed and strict action will be taken.
     

  • Parents/Guardians are expected to abide by the school rules and regulations which may be modified from time to time. In case of any concern, parents/guardians are requested to meet the principal during the following days and time:
     

  • Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 10 AM to 11 AM and 2 PM-3 PM
     

  • Student’s participation in all school functions and activities is compulsory.
     

  • Any damage to the school property, caused by negligence or deliberate mischief will invite compensation from the defaulter. The quantum of such damage shall be determined by the principal for recovery of loss.
     

  • If student(s) is suffering from any illness-common cold, cough, fever and so on, parents are requested not to send their ward to school.

2. Behavioral policy 

  • Students must be punctual. Reporting time is five minutes prior to the first bell.
     

  • The school holds discipline at highest priority-in the school and even out of it. Disregard to school authorities in any form will be viewed as a serious offence and breach of the school discipline.
     

  • Students must come to school in proper school uniform with Identity card. Uniform is also compulsory during Parent-Teacher Meeting, functions or any visit the student makes during school hours.
     

  • Students are not allowed to meet any visitors during school hours. Lunch/Tiffin box will not be delivered to the student under any circumstances.
     

  • The use of mehndi/henna, other forms of ornaments such as jewellery or expensive watches, wearing cosmetics including kajal is not permitted.
     

  • School property must be taken care of by the students. Writing or scribbling on the walls or any damage to school property will be considered as breach of school discipline.
     

  • Use of mobile phones or other gadgets is strictly prohibited within school premises. Phones and gadgets once confiscated, will not be returned.
     

  •  Change of rooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly way.
     

  • Disobedience, disrespect towards teachers or bad moral influence, indiscipline or jeopardizing the safety of the school, at student’s or his/her guardian’s level will justify dismissal of a student with immediate effect
     

  • Any form of Tobacco/Alcohol/Drugs is strictly prohibited. If a student is found in the possession of any, the school has the right to rusticate the child with immediate effect.
     

  • Wearing of Helmet and carrying a valid driving license is mandatory for all students riding a two-wheeler to school.
     

  • Any upload on cyber space (social media/other websites) by any student which puts the school name/logo in a bad light/any derogatory comments against teachers, fellow students or other stakeholders of the school will lead to immediate dismissal of the student.
     

  • Bunking of school by student of any class irrespective of his/her age, will lead to strict action from school authorities.
     

  • Students are not allowed to bring any form of gifts for teachers or school authorities.

3. Attendance policy

  • At least 80% of total attendance is mandatory for appearing in annul examination. In case a child doesn’t meet the above requirement due to some genuine reason, the parent is requested to discuss the situation with the principal and school authorities along with supportive documents.

4. Policy for absence/leave

  • A student is expected to be regular in attending school. Hundred percent attendance is expected from every student.
     

  • A student absent on the previous day must submit a leave application signed by the parent the next day to the class teacher.
     

  • C.B.S.E. guidelines will be followed strictly in Board classes. A student with less than 75% attendance will be debarred from appearing in the Board examination.
     

  •  Board classes attendance is considered only under rules of examination. Kindly note that medical certificates are not condoned and accepted by C.B.S.E.
     

  • In case of genuine illness, the medical certificate has to be duly signed by the CMO of the district and deposited in school.
     

  • Leave extending three days (with or without medical leave) will be sanctioned only by the principal. The school holds the right to remove the child’s name in case of failure of submission of leave application.
     

  • No half day/short leave will be granted to the students. In case of emergency, parents’ consent is required with the reason for short leave. The parent should meet the principal for sanction of leave. Festivities and family functions will not be considered as a case of emergency.
     

  •  All students are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after vacation.
